Milk Shake Flavours
Rectory Farm is a third generation dairy and sheep farm. Selling milk and dairy products direct to the public is a new venture.
We will have 3 fixed milk shake flavours:
- Strawberry
- Chocolate
- Banana
We will rotate other flavours depending upon the season and customer demand. Please use social media to tell us your favourite flavours and any that you wish to try.
Milk is a natural product but is one of the 14 recognised food allergens. The syrups used to flavour the milk shakes do not contain any notifiable allergens.

Nutrition
Milk is a healthy and natural product but is recognised as an allergen to some. Cow's milk allergy (CMA) occurs when the body's immune system mistakenly reacts to proteins found in cow's milk. In the UK, CMA affects 2-3% of babies and young children, with most growing out of it by the age of five. Milk allergy is unusual in adults, but many report problems after consuming milk and dairy.
The energy/fat content of the whole milk produced by our cows will vary through the year dependent upon access to pasture. Whole milk from large produces is standardised to contain 3.5% fat.
The calorific value of our whole milk is 650-730 kcal/1L.
The calorific value of our milk shakes will vary with the flavour and time of year and is 650-860 kcal/L.
Adults require approximately 2000 kcal/day.
